During the period March to September 2019 our Lead Consultant took on the role of Senior Project Manager during the design and build of an indoor Soft-play area in Castlewellan, Co Down.
The work involved the project management of the facility from design to completion, including management of architects, sub- contractors and the construction team.
The work also involved overseeing the recruitment process for the appointment of key staff, including the General Manager.
Reporting directly to the MD, he was involved from the early stages of business planning to the complete build-within a 9 month period, including soft play frame installation, formal safety inspection, design and construction, employment of staff, fit-out and the interior design and finishes.
The skills required to ensure this project was completed quickly to exacting standards includes: managing teams, communication, planning, budgeting and procurement.
