When the Covid-19 pandemic arrived in the UK in early 2020, many Small Business owners in N.Ireland concluded that while being forced to temporarily close they would need to increase their online activity and review existing business planning.
One such small business, was a Co Antrim company employing 4 members of experienced staff. Apart from personal use of social media the digital world of doing business was almost unknown.
With our help we were able to review business planning with a new business continuity plan to review sales forecasts and to re-adjust goals. We introduced a new Digital Marketing strategy and Marketing plan in order to be pro-active in difficult trading conditions.
Online activity increased with new dedicated social media channels and planned activity in the form of a Social media content calendar.
A new digital marketing platform was introduced to automate and to schedule email campaigns to focus on target markets. Using this platform as an email marketing tool was cost effective and the simple analytics allowed us to analyse closely those customers who showed more interest in specific products.
We used video in small 30 second slots in a lot of email campaigns with compelling content and analysis showed a better response rate from many customers, meaning the Sales Manager could see these as low hanging fruit and target as the most important Leads.
